Gill Whitta
Gill is a Research and Development Manager at Grebot Donnelly. She has extensive experience in the education sector, having worked in local government, primarily on school improvement, for 18 years. Gill is responsible for conducting in-depth research and analysis into client issues and monitors education sector trends to identify the prospective impact on our clients.
Background
After studying for an honours degree and Post Graduate Certificate in Education, Gill taught geography at Croydon High School for Girls. She went on to gain an MSc and professional experience working with planning consultancies on projects in the UK and developing countries, and organised the Planning Summer School for the Royal Town Planning Institute.
Following a period of work in financial support services, Gill joined London Borough of Richmond upon Thames in 1990 as a researcher for the Policy Advisor to the Chief Executive. She gained 18 years experience with the local authority, mainly working for the Education and Children's Services, collating and analysing data for all maintained schools and post 16 providers to facilitate school improvement, performance monitoring and target setting.
